Kevin M. Zhang
Hello! I am a BS/MS student at the University of Washington studying computer science. I am a student researcher at AI2 on the Open Ecosystem team. I currently work on medical multimodal reasoning, large-scale data curation, and benchmarking with Wisdom Ikezogwo under James Park, Prof. Ranjay Krishna, and Prof. Linda Shapiro. I also work on applications of medical AI under Dr. Jay Pal.
My research interests include:
- Large-scale multimodal dataset curation
- multimodal grounded reasoning
I am involved in an international medical effort in Nepal led by Dr. Jay Pal under UW’s Department of Global Health. I also volunteer in community health at the Asia Pacific Cultural Center.
In my free time, I enjoy water polo and reading.
